JUNIOR LEAGUE OF WICHITA
Junior League of Wichita, Inc. (JLW) an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The JLW was founded in 1925 and has contributed over $5.4 million to the Wichita, KS community and has volunteered over 6 million hours.
Holiday Galleria is JLW annual upscale shopping event featuring more than 95 regional and national merchants. The fifth annual Holiday Galleria: A Day of Shopping, A Year of Giving is Oct. 2-5 at Century II, Wichita, KS. The objective of Holiday Galleria is to raise funds to benefit community projects. In 2008 Saint contributed to following to the Junior League efforts.
- Holiday Galleria Premier Party Live Auction donation: Samoa Frog necklace, bracelet, and earring set. This suite of jewelry is created in sterling silver and 18k gold and features gorgeous blue topaz gemstones.
- Saint donated a "secret" prize to the Box and Key event. Keys to a locked box will be sold during the Premier Party event with proceeds benefit the JLW. Key holders can then go to local retailer, The Plaid Giraffe and try their key to see if they are the winner of the "secret" jewelry prize.
- Saint was a co-sponsor for the Holiday Galleria Community Catwalk Runway Fashion Show on Oct. 4, 2008. Saint designer, Sarah Jane is the special guest during the brunch and fashion show. A sterling silver and 18k gold Dancing Bee blue topaz bracelet is one of the many raffle prizes ticket holders can win during the event.

In 2007, Saint donated a sterling silver, 18k gold and pearl jewelry suite for the Holiday Galleria Premier Party Live Auction. The suite contained a Bobina Keegan bracelet, Bobina Keegan pendant, sterling silver Ashley chain, Sabrina bee ring and Bobina bee pearl earrings.
In 2006, Saint donated a one of a kind sterling silver Turrentine bracelet for the Premier Party Auction. The bracelet featured six green aquamarine stones and a sage topaz stone.
In 2005, Saint donated a sterling silver and 18k gold Betula Have a Nice Day butterfly necklace for the Premier Party Auction.
In 2004, Saint donated a sterling silver and 18k gold pair of Devora Dresses Up blue topaz earrings for the Premier Party Auction. |
